Stage 5 Learning (Year 9 - Year 10)

In NSW, Stage 5 (Years 9-10) students have the opportunity to select elective subjects in addition to the mandatory core subjects. These electives allow students to explore their interests and develop specific skills in areas that appeal to them.

Students are required to study a set of core subjects, which include: English, Maths, Science, HSIE and PDHPE. They are then required to select two electives to undertake each year. These can be chosen from the subjects below.

Stage 5 BEYOND Elective

Accelerated Entertainment Industry

Year 10 students commence Preliminary (Year 11) course in 2027 and complete the HSC (Year 12) examination in 2028. This course includes 70 hours of mandatory work placement.
